The Warehouse Associate’s primary responsibility is to finish goods for stock and immediate shipment. This includes cleaning used/refurbished products, removing non-OEM markings such as assets tags, and previous vendor/customer labels. The position is also responsible for ensuring the right accessories are included with the product, such as rackmounts, slot covers, and cables.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Cleaning used/refurbished equipment
  • Remove non-OEM markings such as assets tags and previous vendor/customer labels
  • Ensure the right accessories are included with the product
  • Ensure the equipment is securely packaged
  • Transfer finished and packaged product to the proper bin location
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School or general education degree (GED) or one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language/Communication Skills:

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English using various communication methods (electronic and/or verbal communication methodologies); ability to communicate clearly and concisely across organizational levels; ability to analyze and interpret complex business and/or technical trade documents; ability to research and write product procedure documents.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to deal with problems in everyday situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Other Abilities/Skills:

  • Ability to embrace and manage change
  • Ability to multi-task

  • The physical activity level for this position is moderate (performing somewhat strenuous activities). While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, talk, hear or see and occasionally climb, balance, stoop and kneel.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (over 50% of the time) and frequently (0-25% of the time) lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. On occasion (less than 25% of the time) an employee will be asked to assist another employee to lift and/or move over 75 pounds.
  • The employee must have manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with fingers for extended periods of time
  • Visual requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Work Schedule/Hours and Travel Requirements:

  • Monday – Friday: 9 am to 6 pm; occasionally some extended month-end work is required
  • No travel is required in this position
