Sales Operations Specialist

The Sales Operations Specialist provides pre/post-sales support during the sales order process for Trifecta products and services. This includes managing sales orders, purchases orders, tracking, invoicing, and other customer service functions. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments and externally with vendors and customers. The position works closely with sales operations, management, sales personnel, and other members of operations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Complete pricing, availability, estimated timing, and enter part numbers
  • Negotiate and generate purchase orders for CPO products
  • Update purchase orders with tracking information, serial numbers, and software licenses/contracts
  • Ensure licenses and contract information are sent to the customer
  • Review sales order and purchase order information for accuracy and confirm all documents are attached
  • Manage invoices through posting, reviewing for accuracy of charges, taxes, freight, commission, and dates
  • Generate purchase orders for authorized products, verify estimated timing and update customer order with expected date
  • Other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School or general education degree (GED) or one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language/Communication Skills:

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English using various communication methods (electronic and/or verbal communication methodologies); ability to communicate clearly and concisely across organizational levels; ability to analyze and interpret complex business and/or technical trade documents; ability to research and write product procedure documents.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to deal with problems in everyday situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
